St. Thomas More Academy is a community, lay-led organization. While we are fully committed to the fullness of the Catholic faith and ecclesiastical authority, we are not a diocesan school. We will be seeking accreditation through the National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools (NAPCIS).

The Catholic faith is central to an STMA education. All teachers must be Catholic, and ensuring that the sacraments are available is a high priority.

A classical education seeks to form the whole individual through truth, goodness, and beauty. This involves studying history, philosophy, literature, science, and the arts, all through the lens of developing the human person.

St. Thomas More Academy will make minimal use of technology in the classroom. More exact guidance will be available soon.

The school is slated to be located in or near Charles Town, WV, making it maximally accessible to all Jefferson County residents. Several locations are in consideration, and more information will be available soon.
